The roses on the box were created using a Jumbo flower punch. Punch out two flowers, cut a heart shaped piece out of one by cutting between two petals toward the center. Roll this piece to form the roses center and glue. Cut the bottom one-third off or it will stick out of the rose when completed.  Glue a wire into the center. For the next layer, cut in toward the center between the petals and roll each petal backward over a stylus tool. Push the punch shape into a soft, carving eraser with a ball stylus tool to cup or shape. Punch a 1/6" hole in the middle of the flower, put in a dab of glue and insert the center you formed previously.  Set aside to dry.  A third layer can be added if you wish.  The leaves are punched from a craft birch punch and attached once the flowers are in place.
