We're On The Move!

The Great American Stamp Store has been in our Westport location for over 21 years. Although we love being on the Post Road, within easy access to I95, the last few years of the economic downturn have been a challenge. We have been able to remain open by working with our landlord and cutting as many costs as possible. Unfortunately, our landlord has now asked for a substantial rent increase.

Now on to the fun stuff! We have made the decision to move to a new location, 8 Church Street, Westport. It is just around the corner, tucked behind Swanky Franks. Our driveway is conveniently located directly across from the Barnes & Noble shopping center's Church Street exit.

We love this business and have met so many customers who have become friends, feel like family, and share our passion for paper arts. Every day customers thank us for being here and we are confident that when we move to our new location, a bit off the Post Road, you will follow us.

Our store will continue to be open on the Post Road while we renovate our new home. We anticipate being closed May 22-24st and be ready for business on Church Street
May 25. Watch your emails for "sneak peeks" and more information as the big move progresses.

Support Our Troops

Our troops need cards to send home for birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, miss you. At the Great American Stamp Store we will be collecting handmade cards for the group, Operation Support Our Troops. They are responsible for distribution of the cards overseas. Please design your cards, but leave the inside blank and add an envelope. You may send a note with your name and address if you wish. Bring in 15 handmade cards and we will give you 15% off your purchase that day.
